Return/Refund Policy

Please read our Return and Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase from First Used Auto Parts. This policy outlines the procedures and conditions for returning items and requesting refunds.

 

1. Return Conditions:
   - Items that have been modified or disassembled for testing purposes will not be eligible for return.
   - Returns of items that are not the original part shipped will not be refunded.
   - Parts are uniquely identified by markings on the part.

2. Return Process:
   - To initiate a return, you must fill out the RMA Form (Return Merchandise Authorization Form).
   - All issues must be reported in writing via mail, email, or fax to verify a problem with a particular part or installation.
   - If you receive a damaged or incorrect part, please notify our customer service department immediately. Do not send the part back before receiving an RMA.

3. Return Shipping:
   - Returning the part is the responsibility of the customer, and First Used Auto Parts must be provided with a return tracking number when the item is returned.
   - The item must be returned within 7 business days of receiving the RMA.
   - The return address will be provided when you contact us. Parts must be returned to the location address provided upon receiving the RMA.
   - Items returned to First Used Auto Parts will be forwarded to the correct address listed on the RMA instructions, at the customer's expense.

4. Refund Process:
   - Once the item is returned and inspected, a full refund of the original purchase price or a replacement part will be issued.
   - Customer refunds are processed after the returned part has been verified and inspected.
   - Initial shipping costs will not be refunded.

5. Warranty Information:
   - Our standard warranty period is 30 days, starting from the date of delivery of the part.
   - Parts must be installed within 10 business days from the date of delivery to be eligible for warranty coverage.
   - We do not cover any storage fees, but we do cover labor costs.
   - Repair costs of accessories sold with the part are not covered by the warranty.

6. Engine Assembly Warranty:
   - Engine assemblies are guaranteed to be in good working condition, with warranty coverage limited to the long block only.
   - Accessories such as manifolds, gaskets, seals, hoses, oil pan, timing belts and covers, fuel injection or carburetor are excluded from the warranty.
   - High-wear parts such as the water pump, distributor cap, spark plugs, wires, and timing chain may require replacement and are not covered by the warranty.

7. Transmission Warranty:
   - Transmissions are guaranteed to be in good working condition, with gears shifting properly and no slipping. Accessories are not warrantied.

8. Restocking Fees:
   - Parts refused at the time of delivery are subject to a 30% restocking fee, and the shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
   - Orders cancelled after placement, or incorrect parts ordered by the customer, are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
   - If a defective part is provided to the customer, a replacement will be issued based on availability, or the paid amount will be refunded after deducting the shipping costs.
